On Sunday, August 13, several family, friends, and co-laborers gathered at a new location where they expect will have doors open to them for many years to come. Living Faith Tabernacle, under the leadership of Pastor Priscilla Bowden and Elder Cecil Bowden, paid host to those who came from surrounding communities and Michigan to celebrate, what is being called, "a long time coming moment" by Living Faith Tabernacle.

While others were driving north, west, and east, many attendees who used the Anthony Wayne Trail to go South, found themselves in the line up marching to the beat of what Living Faith hopes will be a lasting one in their new location. As a way of celebrating this great achievement by Pastor Bowden and members of the church, friends in the gospel showed up to help wave their hands in the air and shout to the melodic sounds that emanated throughout the service of celebration until end.

It is assuring to know that Apostles, Bishops, Pastor's, Prophets, Evangelists, Ministers and lay members who expressed themselves during the service, via songs, words of inspiration and exhortation, tributes, and words of knowledge, left the service on a much greater level than they had come. Attendees gathered from all points to show appreciation for the labor and now the reward, for a pastor who has given many years of service to this community and families, which seemed so effortless for her.

Bishop Marjorie Holt, Officiant for the Dedication, welcomed Pastor after Pastor to share in this celebration. In an unabridged way, Pastor Coutain, accompanied by his spouse Pastor Sherry, provided The Blowing of the Shofar, which set the stage for what would happen thereafter. The service progressed with many Co-Laborers who would swing into action with songs of exuberance, joyfulness, as well as sharing of words to encourage Pastor Bowden and the congregation of Living Faith. The Brothers of Harmony were on hand to provide a musical tribute. They also featured their grandchildren, three young boys who did a rendition of a quartet song that sparked a jubilant response from the attendees.

Pastor Bowden and the Living Faith Tabernacle thanks all of the Pastor's, Clergy, family, and friends who joined in to help celebrate their new home. They cordially invite all to their weekly services. The church is located at 1047 Walbridge Ave., and you can join them in any of their services that take place: Bible Study is on Tuesday at 6-7:30 PM; Prayer is on Friday at 6:00 -7:00 PM and Choir Rehearsal follows at 7 PM. The Sunday service takes place at l:30 PM. Hats off to Pastor Priscilla Bowden, Elder Cecil Bowden, and the congregation at Living Faith Tabernacle Church. May God bless you!
