Trinity Faith Tabernacle Celebrates Pastor Patricia, Elder Bobby Smith’s Tenth Pastoral Anniversary
On Sunday November 17th, Trinity Faith Tabernacle celebrated Pastor Patricia and Elder Bobby Smith’s tenth pastoral anniversary. Ten years ago, Pastor Smith became Trinity’s 4th pastor since its inception on February 27, 1964. Since being called to the pastorate, Pastor and Elder Smith have remain committed to serving God’s people and preaching the word of God.
In order to say “thank you” Trinity’s youth department presented Pastor & Elder Smith with several gifts including a special video tribute and personalized cake during the morning service. Not to be out done by the youth department, the adults presented Pastor and Elder Smith with love tokens and hosted an intimate dinner for Pastor & Elder Smith and the members of Trinity.
Following dinner, friends and family from far and near filled the sanctuary ready to celebrate Elder and Pastor Smith. International recording artist Evangelist Esther Smith served as the mistress of ceremony for this memorable event.
The service opened up with the Trinity Faith Tabernacle’s praise team followed by a dynamic praise dance. During the service, Pastor Stephanie Jones brought forth a powerful message entitled “Stagger Not At The Promises of God.” Throughout her message she encouraged everyone in attendance to hold onto the promises of God.
Seating was limited as friends and family gathered to celebrate Pastor & Elder Smith’s accomplishments. Following the presentations of gifts and words of encouragement, Pastor & Elder Smith took the podium to thank the audience. They thanked everyone for the acts of kindness and tokens of love and encouraged audience members to love God and live a holy lifestyle.
Pastor & Elder Smith are truly loved at Trinity and throughout the community.
